Introspection is a fundamental part of Wing Po So’s practice. Feelings of delicacy and precision that dictate the intricately carved plaster marks are products of her self exploration. The surface of the work is a record of the kinetic and conceptual labour done by the artist. Tracing through each mark and the intersection of all, the viewers trace and partake in the meditative process of the work’s creation.
